Trying to do something environmental in Newcastle

Hi, I am May, 23 years old, a postgraduate in Newcastle University. This blog is to draw attention to environmental protection issues of young people who like me.
I know in Newcastle, many young people around 20 years old are still in school. We also want to do something for environment but lack of job and money to do huge event or huge donation.
Here I set up this blog to gather the information about what we can do without a lot of financial outlay , hoping to help through simple changes in daily lifestyle.
